27th and 28th March

Wat a wonderful wkend.. =)

I went to help my dad on sat for the whole day, to cover my mum's place... Initially wanted to sleep in and go help at 2pm... but dad woke me up at 9am.. cant sleep after.. went online.. then bro woke up.. Then I told hm i want to drive... he agreed!! He even suggest to have MAC first.. Wohoo.. too good to reject.. so I left at 10am for work.. Then I drove to bt batok.. not bad.. nothing happened.. engine nvr stall, nvr get horned... happie.. =)

We left work at 6pm and homed.. Mum cooked.. bery nice butter prawns and fried chicken with asparagus.. Yumpz..

Met Torp gang at 8 at JP starbucks..

Sun: Tuition day...

Stats count hitting 1,000 soon.. yeah!

I pass SI Skill tes!!

Woohoo... So happy and glad that I passed SI skill test.. There were 75 ppl who took the test and only 39 passed.. I'm one of them!!

Initially I was not confident at all.. Cos I sprained my ankle on monday when I alighted the co bus.. =(
Then wed afternn, HH sms me to ask if I can reach TPY at 630 for skill test.. I was totally stunned... cos i wasnt prepared at all... Plus my aching ankle... siah.. And wed, I have arranged to meet Viv and J at No. 5 for pizza and drinks..

Woke up on thurs, checked on my ankle, feeling not too bad.. Still abit painful.. Called the person in charge to tell him I will be late.. There was a serious traffic jam on PIE. From Bt batok all the way to TPY... super sian.. So worried that I will reach later than 7pm as I told the person.. I reached there at 715.. luckily we r the 2nd last group, so I still have alot of time.. went to change.. Sat down with them.. I start to worry abt my back stroke.. I seemed to have forgotten the "feeling" of swimming backstroke.. so started to "swim" while sitting on the floor precariously waiting for my turn..

It's our turn to "perform"..First, we swam freestyle. Second, Backstroke... it went ok.. at least I swam straight.. Third, breaststroke.. ok.. Fourth, butterfly, I consciously reminded myself to close my legs when i do the kick. We waited more than 30mins for the results.. so happy that all of us passed.. =)

But I will so damn busy for the next 2 mths.. cos the SI course lesson will be conducted on every tuesday and thursday... It's at either toa payoh pool or bukit timah old NIE campus.. There are both of damn far... I don know if I reach there in time for lessons.. =( But nonetheless still very fortunate to pass the first time.. =)

I heard the theory test is the killer.. but i hope I can do it.. hehe

So happy that I can update my new yr resol sooooo soon..

1) To take Ncap in Feb.. 100% completed


2) To take SI too..50% I passed skill test.

3) To workout a plan for wat I really wan to do.. still 0% haven thought and plan my life..

4) Learn photoshop.. going to drop this resol
5) To find the rite man.. 0%.. still still..nothing has been done totally.. =(

Busy and unexciting wk

Nothing memorable happened this wk.. Jus kena shouted by a construction person yest.. But my big big boss knew abt it...

Goin to practise my guitar and take a nap soon.. this is life.. I like it.. =)

Oh ya.. i forgot to say: I passed my NCAP!!!

since Q1 of 2010 is going to be over.. Let me review the status of my new yr's reso..

1) To take Ncap in Feb.. 100% completed


2) To take SI too.. maybe 5%.. cos my boss say will help us to sign up.. gave him the nec doc.. not sure if he's goin to help me to submit.. 5% for my effort to send him the doc..hahah
3) To workout a plan for wat I really wan to do.. 0% still haven thought and plan my life..

4) Learn photoshop.. think this is not goin to happen.. haha.. cos i feel ppt is gd enough to do some minor editing.. I'm not goin to the extend to change my pic till the unrecognisable stage..

14Mar (Sunday) - Lunch or shld I say breakie at Wild Honey

Yeah.. Finally I had the chance to lunch in Wild Honey @ Mandarin Gallery!! =) I have read reviews on it, good reviews... so was lookin forward to sink my teeth into their breakfasts.. They serve breakfasts from different countries, Japan, US, belgium, Scandanavian etc... We have tried 4.. quite nice =) beware the assult of pictures on the mouth watering breakies..

I feel this the most favourful breakie, yet not too strong... Nice

I luv this too.. The salmon is fresh and juicy.. The cherry tomatoes are sooooo sweet... Awefully heavenly..

8Mar - 13 Mar

It's a busy wk at work, even though there's no NCAP.

8th Mar (Monday):  Finally had the time for a breather and time to watch TV.. I cant remember when is the last time I watch 百万大赢家... I think i didnt watch it since beg feb.. =(

9th Mar (Tues): Went JP walk walk and bought a dress =)

10th (Wed): I think I jus nuah at home..

11th (Thurs): Tuition

12th (Fri): Went JP to buy tidbits, blusher and hair mask..

13 (Sat): Tuition at 930 till 1130. Then meet mum to do herbal hair treatment at clementi. Then had our lunch... The mkt which I like to go is under renovation.. what a pity.. i miss the porridge and wanton noodle.. After tt I went home.. wanted to nap for 1 hr.. but in the end I slept till my dad called.. I was still super blur. I was thinking why did he call and ask me to go downstairs and wait for him.. i looked at the clock.. it's 630.. i thought it was 630am... then i asked him why need to wake up so early to eat... hahah.. then after toking for some time, i realised that we have arranged to meet for dinner.. it's actually 630pm.. hahah... i think i was too tired.. totally concuss..

14th (Sun): Going to meet the babes for brunch at Wild Honey... looking fwd to it.. going to curl my hair tml... hehe..

I was quite sad that there were so many natural disaster happening around the world laterly... Not long ago, in Jan 2010, there was a super strong strong earthquake happened at Haiti. In less than 2 mths, there were multiple earthquakes occurred at Chile, Japan and Taiwan. This is something that was depicted in the movie 2012. There were so many movies on the destruction of earth.. Sometimes, I feel that something similar might be happening in the near future.. Right now we can only count our blessings and thankful that we ae still living.. =)

19 Feb (Fri) - 7 Mar (Sun)

Finally I have complete the long long blog on Xiamen.. Have been completely busy after.. had time to blog on wat I have done after I was back.. here's the overdue stuff..

19 Feb (Fri): Back to office. My work engine is off for so long.. cant get started to work.. plus it's my first time at the new office. Was rushing to complete my work cos i have something to report on the following monday.. sian.. super stress where ppl r still in the holiday mood.. then went for company dinner at SRC..

20th Feb (Sat): Tuition in the morning.. till 1130..  the homed and napped.. then started to work on my spreadsheet for work =( wanted to swim with ZW.. but i cant finish.. so in the end didnt swim.. then went to Brenda's hse for CNY dinner and Lou hei.. NIice =)

21 Feb( Sun): Tuition in the morning as usual. Then met LD and PZ for lunch at Lot 1.. We ate Dian Xiao Er..  We went to PZ's hse for CNY bai nian.. Then PZ, LD and I went IMM for dinner.. We ate at Iciban sushi..

22 Feb (Mon): NCAP theory resumes.. It's back to the hectic days..

23rd (Tues): No activity at nite... So it's good time to blog and clear my email.

24th (Wed): NCAP fro 730 to 10..

 25th (Thursday): Tuition from 8pm to 930pm

26th (Fri): NCAP\

27th (Sat): Tuition in the morning... Then went JP to buy hair curler and hair wax.. went home to eat, napped till 3 plus.. did housework then went Bt Batok to swim at 430.. swam till 630.. But it's super crowded.. dun like to swim with so many ppl.. kena kick by ppl.. dad fetch me after my swim.. =) Then we had dinner together at 浦田。not bad =)

28th (sun): It's The Frontier YEC first car wash donation drive... It's oso my first time participating car wash.. I'm initially allocated the soaping section.. super tiring to soap and scrub.. on the next day my hand peeled from the strong detergent.. The event was from 830 to 4pm.. homed after the event.. tried out my hair curler.. but the effect was diff from wat's shown on magazine.. i guess i need more practise.. Studied for NCAP cos the exam is on the coming wed

1st March (Mon): stressful day.. had to complete the report and review it with mger and GM on the next day... NCAP in the evening as usual.. continued to sudy after lesson.. tiredzzz to the max

2nd (Tues): The review went well .. heng.. studied again..didnt finish studying cos i was damn tired.. wanted to wake up earlier the next day, twas failed to wake up earlier..

3rd (Wed): NCAP exam at nite.. luckily it went well.. then went for dinner with HH, S and B after tt,, =) had daily scoops for dessert.. nice

4th (Thurs): Finally had time to rest.. online all I want.. still didnt sleep early..

5th (Fri): Went farewell dinner for a colleague at Pete's place at Hyatt Hotel.. I bought a bag from Nine went.. it's on 50% disc.. great..

6th (Sat): Tuition in the morning.. Then went to swim with XQ at BB. Went to meet B to teach her math at JP.. Then watched Dear John with ZW, B and Z.. Hm.. not very touching leh..teared at certain parts..

7th (Sun): Tuition in the morning.. then met YQ, WY, XW and SW for lunch at Thai express.. Then they came my hse for while to sing..

我从厦门回来了

我弄了一些照片和你们分享。。 明天再详细的叙述。。
I'm taking forever to finish this entry.. I need to complete today (4/3/10).

11/2/2010 (Thursday): 1pm 抵达厦门机场。 叔公，叔叔和他的儿子来接我们。。那天的气温有20多度， 而且是大清天。。 有点失望。。 还以为会比较冷，能穿冬衣。还说冬衣可能用不着。。 这句话说得太早。。

这是8天行程的开始。4点到老家。真是乡下， 养猪，鸭，鸡和有种菜耶。。 古色古香。。

6点就吃晚餐。。 然后玩了一点鞭炮。。

一个人睡在一间房间。。 有点害怕，房间和床太古色古香了吧。。 炮竹声凛凛落落，无法入眠。。突然开始下雨了， 炮竹声停了。 雨滴和瓦的敲击演奏会似乎平息了我不安的心情。我渐渐进入了梦乡。。 =）

包菜园。家里养的黑猪。它在大年初六就被宰了。

 我很喜欢海斌，超可爱的。

12/2/2010 (Friday): 7点就被鸡啼声给吵醒了。。 这么那么冷啊。气温突然降到13度。

到了小姑家坐坐。。 车程2hrs。

13/2 （Sat） ：要过新年了。。

一早我们就到天柱庙上香。庙里也可以放鞭炮耶。Cool

天柱庙还比老家更高， 所以更冷，更多雾。一秒钟后，庙完全被雾给泽盖了。

下午到了二姑的家。车程也要2小时。她的家好大。长度应该比我们的老家长三倍。也有两层楼。他的家养了三只狗。。 两只狗会吃橙。。 很神奇吧。。 哈哈。 柄权很厉害耶，会帮我拍跳动的照片。。 我和柄权一直摸和跟狗玩。。其实我不敢摸狗的，不知哪来的勇气哦。。 呵呵。。

柄权的父母和我爸。 我和老老家。爸爸和叔叔出钱重建的。。

烟花和炮竹。 我放了三次炮竹。 都很惊险。一点就立刻爆炸，差点烧到手。。 烟花很漂亮。 不需要和人挤，一览无遗的景象尽收眼里。。每家每户都在放，看也看不完。

在1130到1230，到处都在放，一直放到过年。。天空都堵满五彩缤纷的星星。炮竹声也不敢失落。 响个不停。。

新年初一：在新加坡的初一因该是最热闹的。可是那天却没节目。。 没办法待在家里，我和爸爸就到市场走走。。 又到了乔莲阿姨的店去坐坐。。 然后他们又带我们到另外一个阿姨的家， 就在几个dian旁，很近的。。 好好噢。。然后又请我们喝汤，吃东西。他们说明天要去他们弟弟（我的小叔）的家玩。我爸以为是靠近小姑的家。可是却是在泉州，离老家2hr。

以下就是乔莲阿姨的店。 是药房。

初二：一早就出发到小叔的家玩。他请我们吃海鲜。 吃一些特别的海螺，长相alien的鱼。回到老家已经6点。

以下就是小叔的家。像我们的condo。 可是他特别订做，买了上下房然后做了楼梯把两间link起来。他是做Amway snr sales mger。 还问我要不要加入他们。。 

初三：是最闷的。因为那天大家都忙着送神。他们5点就到天柱走回老家，4点。宾权，weisiang 都去送神去了。很闷。所以我就呆在房间，读ncap notes， 听mp3， 睡觉。。 可是那天是在老家的最后一天。二姑与来看我们， 她哭着说不知下次我们再来， 她不懂还在不在。

初四：一早就去厦门。芳芳和她的妈妈，言明叔和我们一起去。芳芳成了我的好朋友。他也是会计师。可能都是会计，所以比较谈得来。他还带我到中山路shopping。 虽然没买很多东西，却很高兴和他shopping。很照顾我，帮我谋福利哦。=）那晚也住他的家。很感谢他的招待！超热情地。。 =）

初五：回家了。。

这一趟会老家让我很感动。大家都很热情。其实一开始我会很 skeptical. 以为他们是骗人， 或是有企图的。可是我觉得他们是真心对待我们，给我们都是最好的。我睡在那个床上都习惯了。虽然没有的别的节目，shopping， 美食，可是让我领悟life， 放慢脚步过人生，珍惜工作（有点动摇）。。 我还是会想回去。。 期望下次会是跟全家人，姑姑，一起回去。
